NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – RESOLUTION ADOPTING CERTAIN FINDINGS AND APPROVING ENERGY SERVICES CONTRACT WITH ENGIE SERVICES U.S. INC. FOR ENERGY RELATED IMPROVEMENTS TO DISTRICT PROPERTIES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, per California Government Code sections 4217.10 through 4217.18, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Tulare Local Healthcare District (the “District”) will hold a public hearing at the Board’s July 2022 regular meeting for the purposes of presenting certain findings, taking public comment, and considering approval of a Resolution adopting said findings and approving an Energy Services Contract with ENGIE Services U.S. Inc. for the design, construction, and installation of energy-related improvements and maintenance services concerning the District’s real property interest located at 1425 E. Prosperity Avenue, Tulare, CA 93274, commonly known as Evolutions Plaza.

In order to make an award of the Energy Services Contact, the Board is required, by resolution, to make findings that the cost to the District to implement the energy related improvements per the Energy Services Contract will be less than the anticipated marginal cost to the District of thermal, electrical, or other energy that would have been consumed by the District in absence of purchasing the energy improvements under the Energy Services Contract.

All interested persons may appear and be heard at the public hearing.

            Place:              District Administrative Offices, Modular Building, located at 869 N. Cherry Street, Tulare, CA (Northeast corner of Terrace and Gem Street)

Persons desiring to participate in this hearing may do so in person at the above address, telephonically or by Zoom.  Information regarding remote access options will be provided at least 72 hours prior to the hearing on the District’s website:  https://www.tularelocalhealthcaredistrict.org/.  The Board reserves its right to cancel this hearing at its July 2022 regular meeting.
